Timber Planning & Design in Devon
When planning a new project, whether it be a new build or an extension you should be asking yourself the following questions:
- What is the purpose of the new building/extension?
- What do you want it to look like?
- Is it achievable?
- Is it affordable?
- Will Planning Permission be required?
T & S Framing are happy to help you with answering all of these questions.
On larger projects we will work alongside and in conjunction with your architect to develop their ideas into a workable timber frame. On smaller projects where the services of an architect might be unnecessary we will design the frame and submit a Planning Application (if required) on your behalf. We will also produce for your builder plans that clearly show the dimensions and levels required for setting out the foundation walls etc.
Free initial site meeting, 3D CAD drawing and estimate
All enquiries are followed up with a meeting on site where every attention is given to your ideas on how you wish to make use of the building and how you want it to look. We produce a scaled 3D CAD drawing of the proposed frame together with an estimate of cost. If necessary, we can offer advice and suggestions on possible alternatives to help you stay within your budget. There will be no charge or obligation at this stage.
Should you wish to continue, a small deposit will be charged before we proceed to contract. (This will be deductible from the final payment on completion of the contract). We will then begin refining the initial drawing until we arrive at a design that ‘ticks all your boxes’.
