Hillside, South Brent

The Brief

A challenging small oak framed link / porch connecting the main house to an existing outhouse.  This included the refurbishment of the outhouse to provide a new utility room and downstairs toilet.

The Build Process

The oak frame was designed to be much higher than normal to minimise the impact on the view from the elevated kitchen window to the garden.  The design also incorporated shaped glass infil to provide maximum light.

The Resulting Testimonial

We were delighted with the vision and design by T&S Timber Frame Buildings for the replacement utlity room and porch at the back of our home.

Chris and Jon took great care to address and respond to the concept and changes we wanted.  The quality of work was excellent involving building renewal, new roofing and incorporation of a beautifully made oak frame structure.  The team worked hard and effectively to create a lovely edition to our home.

The extensive roof glazing, Velux window, Rationel door and window have created a warm, light space.

We would recommend T&S Timber Frame Buildings to others looking for this kind of work undertaken carefully, tidily and efficiently.
